Amala is the daughter of Shyir Rev.
History[]
Amala was born to Shyir Rev and her mother. She and her mother were fully aware of his duties as a Green Lantern and supported him. During her father's life, she met two Green Lanterns named Hal Jordan and Kilowog. Following a attack on her planet by Red Lanterns that led to it's destruction and her father's death while trying to protect it, she was comforted by Hal Jordan. She asked him if she could still miss her father and he told her she could. She later went to live on Shyir Rev, a planet named in the honor of her father.
